May 8, 2012 - Ruby core with some orange rim variation; slightly dull but clear in color. Warm spices on top of dried fruits that show a bit of fungal aromas and slight oxidation. Vevety mouthfeel and very smooth upon entry with a spicy finish. Lacking a bit of clarity and focus and without much detail but the body and structure are impressive.

May 26, 2008 - Smell of tobacco, vanilla, blackberry, smoke, and bacon fat. Very subtle dark fruit flavors. The tobacco comes through slightly, the bacon flavor lives strong, with slight truffle flavor. Nice, buttery texture. Very nice, long finish.
