July 17, 2023 - Second time of tasting, this delivered again, and is a great value Burgundy if you can find it in a ridiculously overpriced marketplace. I despair with the recent hikes in white Burgundy, with some tripling in as many months. Bring on the new world Chardonnays!

April 24, 2023 - This is an incredibly intense wine, as noted by Burghound. Still good value, it ticks all the boxes, but in many ways is untypical with a big fruit driven palate and finish, with mango, grapefruit, and pineapple prominent.

January 12, 2013 - St Hugh's lunch (The Principal): expressive aromas of stones and herbs. not particularly refined or elegant but I quite enjoy the directness of it.
