Community Tasting Notes 3

August 5, 2016 - Pop, decanted and poured, then followed for 3 hours. The rating is an average between me and Rebecca. She said 94, which may be the highest rating she has ever given a wine. My impression is a mix of some citrus and a barolo without the creosote. Rebecca says at the perfect time, at the top of its flavor curve. She gets mushroom with a bit of raisin and pleasing earthiness.

March 28, 2010 - Delicious. Decanted two hours and enjoyed with cheese and later some steak. Full bodied and lush. This one actually beat out Clos des Papes 2005 CDP on this night.

July 13, 2009 - Pretty mocha nose; hint of mossy dirt. Nice lightish palate - but tasty slightly medicinal cherry fruit, good acidity.
