Community Tasting Notes 4

August 25, 2010 - Big typical cabernet nose, dark red fruit with a little wood/spice, vanilla notes. Medium weight, medium spice/acidity. Med-light tannins. Ripe, big flavors - more like a spanish red than a cab. Simple but very good for a big, slightly jammy but not over-ripe wine. Nice flavors of cooked red fruit with a spicy finish. Good bbq/grilled meat wine - great value.

October 11, 2008 - Dark, berry on the nose and in the palate with chocolate and spice; smooth tannins, a little heat past mid palate, medium length finish. I bought this from a restaurant at !5.00 for carry out. Will look for it next time I am at a decent wine shop. Nice QPR
