December 24, 2015 - Good from the pop but continued to swell over the next 4 hours. Still a pitch black violet color with very slow legs and moderate sediment. Profound nose of precious oils and florals, leather, and steel shavings. Beautiful, mature texture and tannins with lots of fruit left in the profile. Very persistent and long on the finish with probably another 5+ years worth of peak performance left in the tank. Really great/borderline spectacular. 5+13+18+8= 94

December 5, 2014 - Absolutely delicious! Big mouthfeel, lots of unctious fruit, great blend of Cab, Sangiovese, & Merlot. Hate to see this one end.
