October 22, 2012 - Pale garnet brown in color. Aromas of bright red fruit, cherries. Front end flavors of molasses quickly morph into sour notes of cherries, plenty of heat, some autumn spices. Somewhat bitter and less sweet than previous vintages. Still some life for sure.
