November 4, 2022 - Appealing dark fruit nose and earth. The palate is dark fruit, a tinge of olive, cassis and cedar. A well structured wine with a silky smooth long and lingering finish. No signs of fading currently but plan on 1 1/2-2 hours of breathing in the glass before really enjoying it.

March 17, 2018 - Excellent wine. Notes of leather and lotion predominate upon opening but a few minutes of air add forest and cedar over lush mixed berries. The palate is well balanced with soft fine grained tannins and acidity wrapping fresh and sweet berries that are accented with dusty and spicy notes. A pleasure.

October 9, 2016 - good wine, a little surprised this wasn't as good as some of their other named vineyard cabs. I believe that they have bought more land to bottle estate version of this now. coffee, earthiness, tobacco finish
