April 4, 2010 - Captivating complex mature Riesling. Musky and petrol. Gently sweet. Needs some more acidity and backbone for balance. Still much better than some other aged Reisling I had recently.

March 23, 2009 - Yellow gold, tartrates; lemon drops, honeysuckle, grapefruits; dry, lemony, slightly minerally, light-medium body, good acidity, nice finish.
Deeply coloured, dry with crisp acidity and slightly bitter finish. Starting to decline but always a joy to drink a mature Riesling.

February 21, 2009 - Slightly gold hue to this 18 year old Riesling. Petrol with some sweet caramel buried under it on the nose. Still some sugar on the tongue, maybe some peach and pear, soft caramel and surprise, surprise some petrol. Semi thick mouth feel, but a fairly quick finish. Clearly this wine has past what most would call its prime, but I think it is still quite enjoyable today (88-89 as is).

December 21, 2008 - Really oily nose, heating oil and petroleum scents with some light fruit on the nose. The palate was rather lacklustre with decent acidity but very short finish. Kinda hollow palate.

September 30, 2008 - Lemon-yellow colour. Aromatic nose with earth, wildflowers, and Botrytis notes. Light-medium bodied with nutty, leathery flavours; balanced sweetness; medium-long finish.
