  February 24, 2012 - Lunch by Patrick Kimpel * with "Die besten deutschen Spätburgunder" (Rheingau Gourmet & Wine Festival Hattenheim, Germany): A very successful 2006, typical Centgrafenberg finesse, excellent fruit and style, fragrant, perfectly judged oak, delicious.

  May 4, 2010 - Pale ruby colour with a smoky nose with hints of strawberry and red cherries. On the palate more strawberry, vanilla, oak. Medium length finish. Good franken pinot noir.

  October 13, 2009 - Good colour, fairly light and enticing. Nose of cherry, rich and slightly oakey. Reminded me of NZ pinot. Good effort and very enjoyable with a strong finish. Not overly complex and more village than premier cru.
