January 17, 2014 - What a lovely old Pinot. On opening, at its best shortly after. Even deepens in colour. That sweet old pinot taste. Earthiness. Hint of Indonesian spice. Tart cranberry and redcurrant. Rather quickly heads to mahogany and fades. Excellent length. Think it shows the ageing potential for present day Tasmanian pinot, bit like a time machine. A joy.

April 20, 2013 - Lovely light cherry colour. Fine smooth as silk tannins. Lots of raspberry and red cherry. Plenty acidity. Not over complex, touch of pine wood undergrowth maybe. Lovely and delicate pinot. Actually seemed to fill out more 24hrs later so might even explore a little decant next time. The complete opposite of a blockbuster, no explosions but highly enjoyable.
