February 24, 2013 - A very nice surprise. Popped the cork but didn't get around to drinking it for about 48 hours. A bit of brick in the color. Soft, upfront fruit with a nice lingering finish.

February 17, 2013 - Two hours decanting made it palatable. Very disappointing see prior notes

August 4, 2012 - Really poor and barely palatable. I agree with prior review about the strange petroleum taste, sharp berries and some bitterness. Has failed to improve with a 4 year cellaring and decanting.

September 23, 2011 - Tight upon opening, but improved greatly after an hour. Aroma of fresh fruit, with prominent strawberry and some blueberry. The wine is somewhat tannic for a pinot noir, and possesses a moderate length finish. The wine paired amazingly well with smoked gouda.

January 18, 2011 - Nose: Quite funky with some strange petrol aromas that thankfully blow off with some glass air. In addition to the funk aromas of moss, earth and sagebrush present. Palate: Red fruits with none of the strange petrol nuances in the nose. Decent acidity but quite dilute. This drinks like what the '07' vintage in OR was purported to be by the press (a bit of an early call when you consider what St. Innocent did). Not all that great, but drinkable. If you can steal this it's worth it, otherwise there are far better OR '07's one should pursue IMO.
