December 22, 2012 - Lots of smoke and oak aromas, with undertones of dark fruit. Full-bodied and fruit forward with violets and mocha. Spicy mid-palate. Long finish.

March 23, 2008 - wonderfull with food (lamb), a bit tight to drink on its own. Not much complexity, but loved the forward fruit and firm tannins that held up well to a rich meal.
