December 10, 2013 - For some reason my original notes didn't save so I'm summarizing from memory. I brought this 1L bottle to dinner at a restaurant and shared with some of the staff. Not like any merlot I've ever had. Compost, chloroform, garden hose, and petrol were mentioned. It had that funk but it was still delicious. Great fruit still intact. Medium body. Tannins have mostly fallen off. Still good acidity.
