    Tasted non blind.

Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of menthol, anise and black currants. Flavors of black berries, currants and dried plums. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now.

February 21, 2020 - Was much better on the second day after double decanting. at first alcohol and jammy fruit were the only notes. blossomed into a great new world bordeaux blend on the second day. has years ahead of it!

December 6, 2015 - Dark garnet color, some brick orange at the edge, dense and opaque. The smells are cinnamon, currants, blueberry, brown sugar, dill, and meaty aromatics. The tastes are blueberry, currants, cedar, dark chocolate, iodine, chalk, stone, and floral tastes. The tannins are warm and furry satin with a sour fruit aftertaste and modest body. Complex and drinking well today.

September 26, 2013 - Nice sweetness. Dark berries. All a bit one dimensional. Drink now
