    May 19, 2013 - Library Release - direct from the winery's stash.

2 bottles tasted. One perfectly mature - one still young. Notes combine the two.

Bright red cherry cola color with minimal tawny rimming. The red Grenache fruit is both sophisticated and aloof. Starting to get some 'bottle bouquet.' Acidity is noticeable and very welcome. Any tannins are mostly gone, but their frame is still here. Finish is light but very persistent.

Drink now, but don't be in a hurry.

November 23, 2011 - Full of flavour and force. Like a hermitage in style. Aging aroma, but should have several years left on top.

October 16, 2011 - Weak nose with some flowers and meat from game. The animal notes are at the forefront in the mouth. Not much fruit left. Nice acidity and a little tannins.

September 16, 2011 - The problem about this wine is that it's over the top. Drank the 1996 last week, and it was magnificient! This one is boring and without any nerve. Filling up the glass there is one descent sip of wine before old age squeezes out the rest of the feeling and concentration and what's left is just oxidiced juice without soul. It's watered out and dissipates in seconds.
