November 23, 2012 - Boekenhoutskloof Winemakers dinner. (@ Bottles; Sas van Gent, Netherlands): Classical bouquet with dark berries, cassis and a pleasant touch of sweetness. Same on the palate, good acidity and beautifully soft tannin as well as a pleasant touch of oak.

December 25, 2011 - Outstanding beautiful nose with blackberry Notes. The palate has a lovely balance - there is lots of structure behind ths to ensure no flabbiness but overall it is supple and lithe. A joy to have a 5* wine when it's latest incarnation received a similar accolade
