June 7, 2010 - Deep golden color. Very yeasty on the nose, with carmel, nuts. A very full style, taking full advantage of munier. I think it is at maturity. Excellent

November 28, 2009 - This is the most enjoyable bottle of straight pinot meunier I have ever had the pleasure to drink. Leave it to the talented Tarlant team to tame what is usually a rustic, coarse and inelegant grape into something pure and flavorful with interesting nuances of yeast (but not beer), walnut and caramel. I wouldn't want to age it for fear it will lose its freshness but for now it makes a very interesting individual glass of champagne that can be enjoyed by itself or with fuller flavored food.
