May 23, 2012 - Dark, almost black color. Chocolate and plum on nose and taste. Good bit of sediment. Probably at its peak now.

October 3, 2011 - We enjoyed thus wine. Fruit forward, jam and a little blackberry. Decent nose and lingers on slightly on the pallet. Decent wine but you need to like deep dark wine to appreciate.

June 7, 2009 - This is my 1st 100% Petit Verdot- not a fan of this one. The minute I popped this wine I immediatedly smelled chocolate. The chocolate carried into the taste as well. And it wasn't a hint of chocolate- it was chocolate everywhere- way too much in your face. There is an initial 3-5 sec of good berry fruits and then the cocco dust and chocolate flavors kick in.
Clarissa and I ended up only drinking 1/'2 of our glasses and leaving 1/2 the bottle for the next day.
The next day the bottle was shot and undrinkable- chocolate was still there as well.
