October 7, 2015 - Surprisingly drinkable and in good shape (it was a gift from someone who wasn't sure how well it was stored). Plum, currant, oak. Smooth well-integrated tannins, high acidity. Medium finish. Simple, straight-forward, decent drink.

June 17, 2012 - Difficult vintage in Sonoma but tannins are finally resolved. Drinking nicely now. In sweet spot.

July 22, 2003 - Deep, dark beautiful garnet color but the enjoyment stopped there. Tight, woody, dusty tannins with a stubborn lack of fruit. Remained closed down after 3 hours in a decanter. This one has shut down. I don’t know if it will reappear. WS (88pts) and WA (86pts) both saw more than I did -- right now 79 pts.
