March 10, 2011 - As budget Pinot's go, this one is all right. Not a lot to get excited about, but nothing really wrong. It actually has a little body, and a slight amount of depth. Just a hint of flowers on the nose, with light candied fruit, and alcohol. You can tell it is Pinot. It is totally drinkable. Has some strawberry fruit. Not much acid. Lingering on the finish is some tar and light blueberry.

November 24, 2008 - Bought out of curiosity, and while inoffensive, it is barely good. A medium ruby in the glass, what nose I can appreciate is of red fruits and little else. The light-bodied palate delivers some raspberries and cranberries, with a hint of spice and oak. The finish is suitably short, and overall this was very unimpressive. Perhaps we shouldn't have had this within several weeks of touring Oregon's Willamette Valley, where we realize we prefer heavier-bodied pinot noirs, and aren't shy of a little smokiness. We'll be sure to rectify this on Thanksgiving!
