December 23, 2023 - 5th of 12, opened an hour then decanted an hour, perfect cork and level, dumber than previous bottles, less fruit forward and leaner though underlying heft and attractive sweetish mid palate, needs food, upside and should return in time to former level, 12+ years. F (17.5).....finer but less attractive than Mugnier's Marechale 03 on night!

December 2, 2023 - Nez assez sombre, alcool perceptible, cuir, on ne part pas sur un pinot. Bouche plus fraîche mais avec un peu de sucrosité, le fruit est un peu mat, ensemble un peu austère. Pas au niveau de son pedigree

November 21, 2023 - This was firing on all cylinders especially the nose, beautiful Pinot nose of cherries, red fruits, quite primary, on the palate good body & lovely mouthfeel but not complex

August 18, 2023 - PNP as it was an extra add at group restaurant dinner. Medium ruby with bricking rim, nice long legs, floral and asian spice nose, cinnamon, clove, dark berries, sea and stone minerals,sous bois. Would be better with decant or a few more years.

4/1/2009 (link)(Lambrays Clos des Lambrays) A high-toned and nicely fresh nose of red berries over something initailly a little musty - the must slowly evolves to creamy soil notes. The palate is very ripe but the fruit retains some freshness and avoids being 'roast'. The flavour is good and shows no obvious jarr from the tannin. This is very supple but not as long as many here.
