Community Tasting Notes 2

August 16, 2009 - On the palette the fruit forward shines thru, with hints of Blackberry, red cherries, and raspberry and blackberry flavors. Fruit is rather medium bodied and in balance with the alcohol. Found the Tannins to be round and smoothing out nicely compared to when I tasted it in Dec at the Winery.

March 10, 2009 - Very fruit forward, this offers exceptional purity to its black raspberry and blackberry flavors, medium body, and some slighty chewy, mid-grain tannins. To be frank, this is a bit coarse on the palate, but remains a pretty cool wine in my book - how many Dao/Durero-styled red blends from America are there out there?
