May 19, 2023 - Cork was totally intact with virtually no seepage. Color was still a deep red, fruit had mellowed but still there. Overall a perfect example of aged merlot.

December 6, 2017 - Right up there with the best wines I've ever tasted. Nose of dark fruits, chocolate, fall leaves, sand just a hair of iron. Raspberry jam and secondary oak tastes. Still has some faint drying tannins. Long 30 sec plus finish. Great now but no hurry. Picked this up at auction for $30. Thank god for Sideways.

April 29, 2017 - Dark red color, dark berry fruit aromas flowed out of the bottle as soon as the cork was removed. A good amount of mostly dark cherry fruit was packed into a light medium body with just a touch of acidity. The finish was smooth non-tannic and lasted a minute plus. A pretty good 21 year old.
