November 9, 2008 - Medium garnet color. Smokey rasberry aromas with alcohol. An interesting 100% Grenache with peppery cherry flavors. But, it lacks flavor depth I would expect from a Spanish wine made from such old vines. A dissapointment after all this time. Back to the Vall Llach's!

January 15, 2007 - Popped and poured. Tannic. The tannins overpower everything. Day 2 was the same. Give this some real time. Has some potential but not worth it for the price right now.

July 5, 2005 - 2000 Rhone Horizontal: Mystery 1 - Concentrated intense blood, tangy acid, bright raspberry and pomegranate. Almost smells like it has some Viognier in it (100% Garnacha). Perfumed. Pretty good stuff. Thanks to Van for pulling this ringer for us.
