February 13, 2024 - At Boston Wine & Poker, Needham, Mass.: Tasted blind. A generous offering from Michael M. Green gold. Slight sulphur. Intense pear aroma. Caramel. Intense burnt caramel flavor, with a slight acidic edge. A very tasty, balanced old-school dessert wine.

    December 7, 2023 - Vinklubben 1983's 40th anniversary X-mas dinner (Hos Sten): PnP
    Really spectacular golden-yellow coulor
A bit shy sweet honey bouquet
Totally fresh sweet palate, hA, mB, the acidity balance the sugar very well making it elegant.
    Drink now - for decades
    Thanks Hans

November 23, 2023 - Thanksgiving Week 2023; 11/19/2023-11/24/2023: Our selection. PnPed and served slightly chilled with Thanksgiving desert (pumpkin pie and apple pie). 14%. Beautiful deep golden yellow in the glass. The nose and palate was pure Loire Chenin bliss with an explosion of honey. Some subtle hints of pear and apple too. But mostly honey, honey, and more honey. Dense, heavy, viscous body. Quite sweet and let down slightly by low acid level that would've provided some welcomed freshness if it was just dialed up a notch. Everyone liked it, but at the end of a Thanksgiving meal with bellies full and trying to shovel down pie, we all found it a bit too much. 1/3 of a bottle left in the fridge overnight, it showed no improvement or decline the next day but paired excellently with a cheese plate. This will age forever but I wonder what the upside would be.

July 20, 2023 - Loire Wines of North London (Must & Lees): Barley sugar and bright ginger on the nose. Sweet, joyous and honeyed on the palate, which was long, energetic and grippy. Great on its own, even better with cheese. Fabulous.

July 20, 2023 - TWS North London - Loire (Must & Lees, N1): Some botrytis, lavender, burnt sugar and lemon peel. Killer acidity, great level of sweetness and persistence. Lovely and - at 26 years - a baby.
