Community Tasting Notes 100

December 31, 2022 - Note: I use the recommended scale, so 85 represents a very good wine.

Just shy of the magical 90.
Exceptionally well-balanced, almost surreally smooth, no edges whatsoever.
Almost like drinking red water -- although I mean this in a positive way.
I would have gone 90+, but there was no depth.
    Still, a great bottle.

December 26, 2022 - PnP. Feels tight with light fruit and still durable tannins. Enjoyable with no funk given its age. Red sauce pasta really mellows the tannins but not much left. Might hold to see what a second day open brings. Last bottle of this.

April 14, 2022 - Black currant and cherry are mostly mature with some meat and leather. Lots here, still showing rugged tannins on finish. I doubt this will ever fully harmonize, but it still tastes good now.
