June 10, 2016 - Extremely high OH! Decent amount of flavor, but more like a bourbon or port than a Napa merlot. Definitely waited too long to drink!

March 12, 2011 - This was singing. Rich fruit a on the nose and a long finish.

January 16, 2011 - definitely a napa wine: big big merlot: med+/high viscosity, ruby med +. nose: red fruits: dried red fruits, dried plums, touch of dry herbs, currants, dillweed, and smoked meatiness-soy. palate has dried plum and soy. big for a merlot, but its blended with cab, which makes total sense. good wine, definitely built for food.
