May 15, 2016 - Second magnum (and last) - no question it's more balanced than the previous bottle, the oak was still present but not overpowering. Likely past it's prime but still a nice aged cabernet.

November 14, 2015 - First of (2) magnums signed by the wine maker.

Good not great wine, nice fruit at the beginning but quickly overtaken buy the oak at the mid point

Should have drank these 5 years ago...oh well...at least I have one left.

    June 10, 2013 - Very average for a 99 cab.

  • danscellar Likes this wine: 88 points

February 28, 2013 - Good drinking cab. not a very big nose, color showing a bit of browning on the edges, not a lot of fruit. Not a great deal of complexity but smoothes out pretty good.
