Community Tasting Notes 3

December 6, 2020 - Luxurious bottle that preserving a tremendous mineral load does not skimp on citrus and pastry notes (meringue). All presented with harmony and elegance by the way. In the mouth it begins to soften its acidity, thus showing notes of dried fruits, limestone, with an infinite texture but unfortunately new wood is still very preponderant. Fifteen years have passed for a supposedly austere vintage and this bottle is just starting to sing. It will most likely need another five extra years. Thanks Raúl (from Madrid) for your generosity.

May 16, 2020 - From a terrific vintage for Corton-Charlemagne, and evident here from Vougeraie. Rich, complex and luckily showing no premox. Popcorn, exotic citrus fruits, hazelnut and hints of flint and stony minerals. Finishes with very good length and intensity...From Blue Hill at Stone Barns Cellar.

December 31, 2008 - Wonderful nose of fresh cut peaches and pineapple. Rich and creamy on the plate with a long steely finish, this is very expressive now but has the structure to age.
