April 22, 2022 - Young, still fresh. Lasted throughout a three hour meal. Glad I have more...

October 24, 2020 - Loved this wine. Surprisingly super fragrant with fresh flowers when I popped the cork, right out of the wine fridge. Decanted for an hour. Very rich cacao, leather, dark fruit. Super weighty mouthfeel, silken tannins.

December 2, 2019 - Inky, black fruited, with incense, anise, gritty tannins, and a palate-staining finish of black cherry jam. Quite good, drink now through 2020+.

October 5, 2019 - Classic Carlisle Petite. Silky smooth. Fruit-driven. Soft tannin. 30 second finish. Good stuff.

February 1, 2019 - My first of two and it was really delicious. Pnp and drank with baby back ribs. I am becoming a real fan of Petite Sirah. Lots of fruit, licorice, tannic backbone. Probably will hold my second bottle for a few years. Drink or hold.
