July 30, 2009 - This had some very apparent Margaux characteristics - a bit of funk and dirt, and to me, an overabundance of crushed rock on the palate. Tastes very 2004 - austere fruit, a tad unripe. In the end, though I love a bit of slate on the palate, here there's too much without enough fruit to make this enjoyable at this point. 83

April 25, 2009 - Ruby with a garnet rim. Strong nose of roses and some dry grape/dark fruit notes. Powerful, elegant wine, tasting of cassis, currant, blueberry, smoky vanilla, and more flowers --- this is definitely a Margaux. Quite tasty. Well-balanced, long finish.
A great effort from Chateau Dauzac's second label. Drink through 2016. -

October 3, 2007 - Académie des Cinquante Bordeaux visit; 10/3/2007-10/6/2007: Promising nose, lovely fruit, well-absorbed oak, classically styled and still a bit tight, lightish, decent length.
