    March 8, 2024 - Deep golden color.

Subtle oak. Scents of peony, almond, saffron, and ginger. Lychee, peach, tangerine fruit that has sunny golden edges. Saline and crushed rock minerality. An element of umami-savoriness. Finishes with orange zest and orange blossoms. Slight pithy bitterness that pleasantly lingers.

Medium body, medium plus acidity. Rich and creamy texture that feels weightless.

Ethereal and extremely complex. No signs of fading.

May 16, 2023 - Great color. Petrol and ripe tropical fruit on the nose. Glides in the mouth, full body and long finish. In excellent shape.

March 4, 2023 - Pear, lime, precise, sensuous -- all to the good, yet for me somehow it doesn't quite capture the soul. Cellared since original release.

April 2, 2022 - Absolutely stunning. No signs of age yet. Very youthful with very long finish. Couldn’t believe how distinctive this is. I paid $15 a bottle for this at a grocery store in Atlanta in 1993. Last bottle of 7.

Phantastic wine, at his peak. So distinctive. So fresh, so pure and so precise. Love it. You feel it is a great wine and not chardonnay and not Riesling. 99-100
