  October 1, 2023 - Likely the best CDP that I and my wine dinner / aficionado friend have ever had! From their likeliy best vintage and stored absolutely perfectly. The cork was like new, zero seepage. Wow!! Leather, dried figs, prunes... absolutely delicious and continuously evolving in the glass. Worth the $500 at retail of admission? Pricing at this level of wine is utterly subjective, not cost based -- as in other fine things.

  Bouche souple et fraîche, avec des tanins fins, c’est savoureux et très bien équilibré. Sabon? 93 pts

  January 9, 2023 - (Verkostet aus der Magnum im Rahmen der C9dP Probe von Peter Buser) Mittleres Rubinrot, granatfarbene Ränder. Die Nase ist komplex, sehr duftig, vermengt dunkel- und rotfruchtige Noten, da ist viel Marmelade mit im Spiel, dazu noble Röstnoten, diese nicht zu dominant. Im Gaumen weich, rund, reif, feinste Tannine, sehr reife Frucht, hier wurde spät gelesen, im Stil auf der opulenten Seite, dabei aber nicht vom Alkohol dominiert. Ausgezeichnete Länge. Ein Hammer-Wein für Liebhaber der reiffruchtigen Stilistik. 95 vvPunkte www.vvwine.ch

  January 4, 2023 - This might have been great at some point but it's faded. Starting to taste aged, maybe a little port-like, and looks "bricked." We corked it up and opened something else. This is the second bottle with the same impression.

  September 6, 2022 - Commanderie des Costes du Rhone - Fall 2022 Kick-off (Claud): From a magnum and towards the end of the night and yet this was drinking quite smooth - a bit like drinking velvet. Some nice fruit. I expected it to be much more intense, but it was indeed nice.
