December 27, 2010 - This was every bit as good as the 06. Lots of smoke and bacon on the nose. More fruit forward than the 06 but the tannns have not integrated as smoothly yet. Both of these (06,07) are drinking nicely right now, although this one could stay in the cellar for another year or two easily.

April 14, 2010 - I guess that last one didn't get saved very long. Medium red color. Moderately complex nose of red fruits and cinnamon, and mollases. Medium body with soft lush tannins and good acdity. Persistent complex finish.

February 2, 2010 - Love this wine. Really great fruit that screams Santa Lucia Highlands. Great nose of funky red fruits. Very balanced wine drinking beautifully right now. '07 was a great year.
