    A real beauty, fully mature

January 20, 2024 - This had a slightly cheesy overtone on the nose that detracted from what it could be, but on the palate it was great. Chewy, velvety, with very fine tannins. Del odious but not as good as previous bottles.

December 24, 2023 - Xmas eve dinner 2023: about 20 minutes decanted; dark crimson color; intense bouquet of cherries, blackberries and blueberries; soft texture balanced by some fleshy sprinkles on the palate added by a berry flavored mild acidity; still a decent amount of tannins in the cheeks; medium/full body; long finish.

Over the course of 2 hours drinking the wine improved and improved and got at the brink to the exceptional quality level. My guess is in the next 5 years this wine, good storage provided, should reach >94 points.

June 11, 2023 - This was from a 3 liter and did not get a good decant but still amazing depth, structure, fairly expansive mid palette and nice finish albeit all likely a hair subdued due to the above circumstance. Seemed like this bottle could go another 10 years easy.

March 1, 2023 - Decanted for 1.5 hour. Seductive nose, smooth and fully integrated. Wonderful wine.
