December 23, 2016 - 2nd bottle opened in the last 2 weeks. Interestingly this was brighter with more red fruit and Chambolle elegance immediately upon opening. After a few hours of air, it was much more like the previous bottle, big, darker fruit and good structure. I like this wine.

January 10, 2016 - Yep, baby Bonnes Mares. Youthful, energetic ripe plum, some secondary earthy notes, well balanced. Good length. Still some resolving tannins. Pensive, enjoyable juice. No rush to drink here. Better certainly with food. This needed air and was better with time. Decanted and consumed over about four hours.
