April 17, 2007 - ready to drink; a lot of oak notes which almost overpowers the wine. Chill to 12-15 degrees celsius and the acidity, fruit and some faint mushroom comes out more clearly. Not a very long aftertaste.

November 18, 2006 - The wine was very good. The finish wasn't long but it had red fruit. It wasn't overly fruity or sweet but it complimented the ham and navy bean soup perfectly. It was a good winter dinner wine.
