May 5, 2016 - More fragrance than the Epenots or Lavaux St. J. Has cranberry, cherry and floral. Palate is sous bois, cherry. Fabulous integration of acid and tannin. A very successful 2007.

February 24, 2010 - Lucien Le Moine tasting with Mounir Saouma (Burgundy Wine Company): Splash decanted - some pleasant pinot perfume hits you directly; then, a lot of sweetness and dark fruit, quite big for a Chambolle. A fine green - herbal - quality emerges after a while in the tasting glass. It is round and approachable but has a certain fitness level which in the end convinces you not to disregard it. still, I would say it's a drink now type of wine.

February 13, 2010 - An Offer of Awesome Burgundy Inspires A Day of Tasting In the Willamette Valley (Willamette Valley): Cherries, apples, and a hint of spruce needle scents on the nose. This has a lovely mouth feel with some good acid and soft even tannins. Hints of black pepper and raspberry flavors show up and linger nicely through the finish. 90+

February 13, 2010 - A day tasting in the Willamette Valley with the usual suspects (Oregon): A complex nose here of dried roses, potpourri, strawberries, cherries and dirty earth. It was a joy to sit and smell this wine. I found the palate a bit less interesting than the nose, red fruit along with a candied red flavor, almost like red vine licorice. Slightly chalky throughout. Superb structure on this wine takes over and wraps the tongue gently and holds on for 20-30 seconds leaving hints of red fruit behind. Overall an outstanding wine, delicious.
