  March 2, 2019 - Q1 2019 Tasting - 1995 Napa (The Apt): Bonus bottle. Opened and decanted for sediment and then rebottled. Thought about putting it in the main event as I didn't expect us to get many Zins but at the end of the day didn't seem in the same league as some of the other wines we had. This was very enjoyable though. Lots of fruit and more spicy notes and actually didn't feel like a drop off from the main wines. Would continue to keep an eye out for these. A very good value.

  December 15, 2012 - Probably a bit beyond it's peak, but still an excellent zin. The cork was still wet and intact. Poured through an aerator and let set for 5-10 minutes before it came around. Dark with heavy berry notes. Open a 94 vintage along with the 95, the 94 aged better as was much taster.
