December 2, 2017 - Nose of black cherry fruit, black berry, and earth, more of the same on the palate, juicy and easy to appreciate, medium/big body, mouth filling fruit, touch simple, and a medium finish which hurt the score.

October 31, 2013 - Lovely red fruit without being too lush. Lots of layers of flavors, especially on day 2 when the second half of the bottle was consumed. Some violet, creaminess, a pleasant hint of vanilla, but all so flawlessly wound together that I don't want to pick out flavors. Very good indeed.

July 13, 2013 - Tasted at the winery. Lovely nose of cherry fruit, more of the same on the palate, juicy and easy to appreciate, hints of earth and spice, medium/big body, medium finish.

November 6, 2012 - Decanted. First taste heavy tannin. After a couple hours, much more balanced. Great spice, a little smoke. Still has another 8 years.
