February 26, 2016 - Yum, yum, yum. Honey, melon and pear with a touch of oak and vanilla. Great acidity. Will hold for at least another 2-3 years. Spectacular.

April 11, 2015 - Beautiful. Complex, long finish of lemon cream.

April 8, 2014 - Nose: The nose is very aromatic and open with oranges, creams, vanilla, peaches, and some oil tones. There is excellent depth to the nose with a quasi-richness as well.

Taste: Full bodied with medium+ acidity. The structure is youthful, but not overbearing. While the feel is on the fuller side, it isn't overdone with peaches, oranges, oils, and some vanilla tones.

Overall: While this has a richer side to it, it isn't overdone and shows a good amount of balance. I would like to see where this goes with more time as it could use some extra complexity to really make it better.

April 8, 2014 - Chicago Rotating Dinner Series - Williams Selyem 10 Year Retrospective (Perrenial Virant, Chicago): Bright gold color, almost entirely to the pale rim.

Blowsy aromas of honeysuckle, ripe stone fruit and expensive oak.

Mouth filling ripe stonefruit – Anjou pear and peaches - lemon curd (thanks Izzy) and honey. Great acid signature keeps the size in check, although some heat sneaks through on the end of the palate. Great length. A very good wine although a touch on the big side to warrant a higher score from me.
