October 24, 2015 - The cork seal was good. I kept it well-cellared, but it turned. Not drinkable. So sad.

June 9, 2013 - Drank from Magnum, won at Mt. Veeder tasting auction. Lovely rich, intense nose of inky, mineral, stony, dusty, dark fruit, more of the same on the palate, medicinal taste, consumed this magnum over two nights, probably could age ten more years, very nostril clearing, refreshing to drink, medium body, long finish.

February 25, 2011 - Sampled 1/30/11. Mt. Veeder fruit that tastes more like Spring Mountain. The real issue with this wine is that too much Oak comes through even after 5 years.

May 6, 2010 - Somewhat subdued nose showing black fruit including black currant. Nice palate showing fruit and a touch of licorice. Very smooth integrated tannins. Very good wine.
