May 31, 2021 - Decanted for sediment. Med (+) ruby to garnet on the rim. Surprising in its relative youthfulness after 15+ years. Med (+) tart black cherry, ripe strawberry, dried rose, earth, pencil shavings and French oak spice. Dry, with plenty of fruit left. Med (+) acidity, med (+), drying tannins and high but well-balanced alcohol (14%). Full-bodied, with med (+) to high flavor intensity and length, with an elegant finish of cherries, botanical herbs and oak spice. It has several years left and may yet benefit from more aging.

May 3, 2020 - Ein schöner, wenn auch schlanker Barolo. Karge Nase, rotbeerig nach Weichsel, etwas Unterholz. Am Gaumen eher säurelastiger Eindruck, schöne rotbeerige Frucht, rustikale Tannine.

March 6, 2020 - Fantastic. Dried fruits, plums, herbs and earth. Soft and well integrated and drinking very well Long finish.
