August 3, 2012 - Well, well well, what a difference a year makes. I notice my last note on 5/11 was not very flattering. This was much nicer and we drank over 2 days. older world flavors of cigar box mixed with some light fruit. finish was a short but much more enjoyable. Will revisit again next year.

May 21, 2011 - decanted for an hour or so. Uninspiring. This wine is not drinking as well as it did when it was younger. The tannins calmed down after during the decanting but this was missing the character that I remember it having earlier. I have 3 more bottles, lets see what comes of the next one.
