  July 23, 2015 - Upon opening - Smoke, flint, tobacco and a hint of dark red fruit on the nose. The palette comes through with more dark molassis and more substancial cherry notes to compliment the smokey character. The structure is evident with stiff yet apraochable tannins and a chewy texture. The finish already lingers...I cant wait to see what some substantial airtime does to this bottle. Currently it rates as...8-18-8-8, 92
  
  After 24 hours, it gained in body and tannins. I was hoping it would smooth out a bit and some of the more subtle notes would gain strength, but this did not occure. Instead, the youth of the wine has become more pronounced.
  
  Not much changed after an additional 24 hours (48 hours - total), with the exception of some intensified cholocalate notes on the palette and an intensified finish. It gained a point in my book...

  November 30, 2013 - Fantastic wine. Maybe a bit too early to drink but still fantastic.
  The legs are Slow. It smells like Fig, Blackberry, Red Currant, Lemon, Plum, Pine, Black Pepper, and Jasmine Leaves. It tastes like Blackberry, Cranberry, Red Currant, Grapefruit, Fig, Prune, Apple, Mineral, Cedar, Black Olive, Jasmine Leaves, Tobacco, Basil, Stems, and Almond. The body is Full. The wine finishes Long.

  May 11, 2013 - Tastes like wot its sposed to. Probably a little rough around the edges but that's underlying some delightful sour fruit and smokey Nebbiolo goodness. Delicious but not super stellar.
