December 14, 2019 - Larry's wines are so consistently well made and affordable that every time I open one, I wonder why I don't have more of them in my cellar. For a twelve year old wine, this shows no signs of age. Lovely plum, blackberry and matchstick flavors, with a long, smooth finish. Held up exceptionally well over three days.

February 20, 2014 - The '07 is doing really, really well. The edges are rounding nicely without losing any distinction of flavors. The oak, in particular, has softened beautifully. Great fruit, firm mid-palate, and wickedly solid backbone and finish. The winemaker harnessed it when he got it in the bottle, now it's confident without having to fight.

October 8, 2013 - This wine is drinking really well right now. While I want to say "explosive" aromas and flavors, readers might assume it is hyperbole. So let's say "stunning" instead. Lots of jammy raspberry and plum, nice pepper notes, and some candied licorice. Really delicious.
