  On the palate: Dry in the palate, morello instead of cherry, dust, licorice.

  April 10, 2016 - Classic Barbaresco nose of tar, earth and roses. Dried cherry, oak and smoke flavors, with a light and very dry profile. Fine but not exciting.

  May 26, 2010 - Expresses Barbaresco nicely, if not overly complexly at this moment in its youth. Palate is quite soft, and stays soft, almost slightly out of character of Nebbiolo for its lower, or lowish tannins. However, this could be that it was just opened, and also that I have had many other wines to taste and am now desensitized to the subject at hand. Would much prefer it at $39, but that is not where I am going to get it at. Fine at $49.
