December 10, 2023 - Early Christmas lunch (with KC) (KC's place): Tidied this up with a rack of lamb and asparagus - Note from earlier this year applied; quite red hued fruit with fresh acid

March 13, 2023 - Coravin fun - Ridge range (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Leather, earth, mushroom, red hued fruit; cranberry, currant, a little vanilla and sweet spice. Juicy, slightly dilute cranberry fruit, a little tannic burr tugs the back palate joined by some non-intrusive alcohol warmth with helps carry the finish long. Nice but, like the 93 Lytton Springs, drink up.

November 12, 2020 - Carrying along quite well. Clearly quite mature and maybe a touch better a few years ago. The darkness still here is remarkable. Not really doing a lot in terms of expression. You'd definitely expect more given the age and source. So it's quite good but a notch below where you might expect. It's a great mature Bordeaux blend otherwise. It's funny that the prices are finally shooting up quickly on these sorts of bottles 30 years later.

January 15, 2020 - Coravin fun - Ridge range; 1/15/2020-1/17/2020 (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Leather, earth, toasted vanilla, sweet spice, a little blackcurrant, bramble and raspberry lozenge backed by cedar. in the mouth it's sourly juicy, red and blackcurrant, chalky tannins are still very present and, with time, a little rhubarb note is evident. Long with a little alcohol warmth and the merest whisper of vanilla on the finish. This one is defo in the tidy me up phase but yummy none the less...

April 8, 2018 - Coravin fun - Ridge range (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Leather, baked earth, brambles, red currant, sweet spice. Juicy acidity, very mineral, subdued, but present and slightly jubey, fruit. Lightweight chalky tannins, plenty of leather on the palate as well. Fully mature and really very nice.
