March 31, 2024 - Deep garnet in color with slight bricking edges. Nose of crushed dark berries, leather, and a hint of brett. Tastes of dark cherries, blackberries, tobacco, and hint of earth. Well integrated fruit and acidity. Has a slight sweetness, rich, and resolved tannins. Tasted better in cooler side. Probably just past it best drinking window. Drink now And over next three.

March 28, 2021 - Nice CdP went well with marinated grilled pork tenderloin.

November 28, 2020 - Capable and elegant, if somewhat unremarkable. Is that fair when a wine is really good, just somewhat shy of hitting wow? Hits a whole bunch of strong notes, nice smooth dark fruit, tannins in balance, great weight and silky texture. Liked everything about it ... just not going gaga for it.

November 14, 2020 - Enjoyed it more than the previous bottle drank a couple of years ago. It mellowed out and became more elegant. Served with lamb shanks and the strong flavours in wine went with the food really well.
