October 3, 2020 - This has finally come out of the dead phase it was in. Classic St Joseph.

July 3, 2019 - It has dropped some of the more intense sour notes in favor of a little savory element that one would expect as it ages. Tannins are still a bit rustic and bitter. Hoping that this sorts itself out with time. I’ll try to ‘lose’ these in the cellar.

April 29, 2015 - I like PSTICE's descrption of rock hard and ferrous. I would also add that it's still slightly rustic. This is in an awkward phase at the moment but I think it has balance to go another 10 years as the wine was significantly better after 3+ hours of air. Plenty of fruit and spice from this syrah, especially given that I was drinking it along side a McLaren Vale shiraz. I'm just really pleased to have gotten my hands on half a case...

July 2, 2014 - rock hard. ferrous, meaty and a bit hollow on the mid-palate. I expected more...

November 20, 2013 - Nose is great but the palate not so much.
